The postmark deadline to apply for the next New York Times Student Journalism Institute is Nov. 1, which will be held May 18-June 1, 2014. The Institute is for student members of the National Association of Black Journalists or any student at a historically black college or university, and the program is held in New Orleans at Dillard University.
