Pickit is a local startup here in Lincoln, and is looking for marketing interns to help increase consumer adoption. Pickit is a smart phone app that helps connect consumers with deals at local businesses, all while helping local non-profits to improve the community! The intern would work with the Pickit marketing director to plan and promote user events, as well as gain insight into how to improve the product for the consumer. The internship would require about 8 hours a week, largely over the lunch hour, with some time allocated for night and weekend events.
