The Iowa Climate Prize Group is holding a YouTube competition with a $5000 prize for the winning entry. This competition will begin January 15, 2014, and close May 15, 2014, The purpose of the video is to quickly reach millions of people of all ages with the message that climate change is real, has dire consequences for all living creatures, and requires that people ACT NOW. This means making personal changes and most importantly demanding change from elected officials now. The winning video will be the on receiving the most hits during this time period. It is expected the video will go viral on the Internet.
