Would you like to be considered for a $1,500 scholarship? If interested you must respond by Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Barney McCoy at bmccoy2@unl.edu.
The Omaha Press Club has a $1,500 scholarship available for qualified broadcast majors and CoJMC gets to nominate one student. If you’d like to be considered for nomination for the scholarship here are the details:
· It’s the $1,500 Mark Gautier Broadcasting Internship Award.
· It’s given to a broadcast student who has, or is currently interning at an Omaha TV station or cable news organization.
· It requires a letter of support from a manager at the TV or cable outlet where you interned.
If interested please forward a letter of support from your TV or cable outlet manager, describe when you interned in Omaha, why you’re interested in the scholarship, and how it would contribute to your career in broadcasting.
