Senior journalism majors! You could win $1,000 cash for your good reporting and writing.

The Abe and Belle Lieberman Prize for Excellence in Reporting will go to
one senior journalism major who will graduate in May, August or December
2014.
To enter, submit four samples of the best public affairs reporting and
writing you have done in college to Associate Dean Charlyne Berens
by Feb. 15, 2014.
The award will be made for reporting on public issues rather than for human
interest, breaking news or sports reporting.
Your work may have appeared in a print publication, on the air or
online. If you are submitting work that was published on paper or online,
please submit hard copies. Photo essays, videos and audio files may be
submitted on a CD.
Please include a resume and cover letter stating the name of the
award and your own name and contact information. Also, please
write a paragraph about how you got each of the stories and what
you were trying to accomplish.
Trudy Lieberman, who established the prize, will present the award at the
college’s honors convocation in April.
