Bailey Lauerman, a nationally recognized, independent marketing communications firm, with offices in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska, is offering an advertising internship.
We’re on the hunt for students who look for opportunity and love to solve problems; who are deeply passionate about “killer” creative work; who have a natural curiosity about life; who have an intense competitive spirit; who don’t wait for the “boss” to tell them what to do; who are unselfish and team-oriented; and who aren't afraid of a hard day's work.
If by now you’re thinking, “Hey, that’s me,” then you should apply.
This is a competitive internship with room for only six students. Chosen students will get to tackle a real body of work for a real client. If you’re not familiar with our client roster, check out what we’ve been up to at http://www.baileylauerman.com. You’ll build a campaign recommendation from the ground up. You’ll be mentored and coached by our professional staff. You’ll learn a ton and have the time of your life doing it.
And at the end of the experience, you’ll make a presentation with your student teammates to the client and the agency – and you’ll wish it could continue for another six weeks.
This is a multidisciplinary internship, so we’re looking for team members to fill different roles across the agency, which could include but aren’t limited to:
 Account management (account executive)  Account planning (account planner and/or strategist)  Creative (art director and/or copywriter)  Media (contact strategist)  Public relations (social media and/or PR strategist)  Digital (strategist and/or designer)
The BL Experience will begin June 20 and end July 29. You will live in Lincoln and be paid a stipend of $1,200.
Applications are due by May 16, 2011. Interviews with finalists will be conducted shortly thereafter and final selections will be made by May 20, 2011.

To apply, simply go to:
http://www.baileylauerman.com/internship and fill out an application, submit your letter of interest and case for why you should be chosen, your résumé and a portfolio link, if you wish. Not required but certainly encouraged would be to link us to a :60 or less video you create that expresses to us why you are a great choice for the BL Experience.
Let’s get after it.
