The media landscape is changing fast -- come learn how to build the future of media, not just tag along for the ride. In Developing New
Media, you'll learn how the journalism business is changing, the challenges ahead and how to build products on the Web.
You'll learn about audience, entrepreneurship, product development and programming. You'll also get your hands dirty. By the
end of the semester, you'll have a working prototype of a product you came up with.
The class is loaded with stuff you've never encountered before -- your head will swim -- but you'll also be exposed to
concepts few other journalism students in the country are getting.
