The Lancaster County Super Fair continues to grow. Last year, 192,644 people attended. The new Event Center director has looked up published attendance records and discovered it is bigger than over half the State Fairs in the country!
The 4-H youth development program, which is part of UNL Extension, has a huge role in the Super Fair. Last year, nearly 700 4-H/FFA exhibitors showcased more than 5,800 exhibits (including static exhibits, Clover Kids, animals and contest entries). 4-H is the nation's largest youth development organization.

We need journalism students who would be interested in real-world experience taking photos, writing stories or making videos of an action-packed community event.
This year the Super Fair will be July 31-Aug. 9. The 4-H & FFA exhibits & events will be July 31-Aug. 3.
