Students, when you register for classes and the class you want is full, you have the option to join a wait list. If a student drops and a seat becomes available, the system will check the following overnight:
1. Check to see if there is a wait list
2. Check the eligibility of the next person on the list. This includes checking prerequisites and time availability.
3. If the student meets eligibility, they will automatically be enrolled in the class.
4. The system will then generate an email to the student using the MyRed preferred email.
5. It is also recommended that if a student is on a wait list, they check their MyRed often to see if they have been enrolled.
6. If the student decides they no longer want that class, they must Drop according to Drop/Add procedures or they may be financially obligated to the class.

Faculty, please note that some classes have a wait list. Please check the wait list for eligible students prior to signing an “override” for a class.
