Basketball and Football recruiting news, game and player information.

NebraskaHSSports, LLC was created due to the need for overall organization
of information about Nebraska High School Basketball and Football.
Information was scarce and difficult to find on the internet and coverage was
mainly limited to local newspapers.

NebraskaHSHoops.com and NebraskaHSFootball.com is an informational website
that contains the latest recruiting news, reports, game information and more
about high school basketball and football in Nebraska. It is our goal to
cover as much basketball and football as possible and provide a thorough
account on NebraskaHSHoops.com and NebraskaHSFootball.com.

NebraskaHSSports, LLC needs your help!!

We are asking players, fans, coaches, families to provide us with
ideas/suggestions for coverage, team information, results, top performers,
spring/summer events, and much more. The goal is to provide an all inclusive
network for Nebraska High School basketball and football information.

Position title: Writer
Position description:
Have you always wanted to be a sports reporter? NebraskaHSSports, LLC is now
seeking student interns for the 2014-2015 school year, beginning
immediately.We have expanded the NebraskaHS brand to include
NebraskaHSFootball.com(August 2014).
This is a paid position. If class credit is needed we can accomidate
interships as well. This position averages 8-15 hours per week with some
longer weeks. When needed some travel and expenses will be paid.
Mostly night and some weekend work are required.
Those students selected for internships will work under the supervision of
Mike Sautter to assist in the coverage of Nebraska high school
basketball/football
games with duties that will include statistics, news releases, social media,
game hosting and web maintenance. In some cases, the associate/intern may
serve
as the primary media contact. It is preferred that those interested should
have already completed courses in news writing and reporting and or news
editing, have an interest in writing and should be familiar with various
computer programs. In order to earn credit for the internship, completion of
a pre-internship course may be required.

Additional Requirements and General Information (education, skills,
transportation):
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, self motivator with a positive attitude
- Well organized with solid time management skills
- Website development skills are also desirable
