The JAMES ALAN COX FOUNDATION has five undergraduate photojournalism awards, payable to the student’s university, in the amount of $2,500 each:
· 4 for video
· 1 for still photography
In addition, we have one photojournalism award for a graduate student, payable to the graduate student’s university in the amount of $2,500 for video work.

Jim Cox, a photojournalist for KTVK-3TV in Arizona, was killed in the media helicopter collision over Phoenix seven years ago. This is our way of honoring him - a very talented man and beloved son, brother, and friend.
