2015 NBC SUMMER PARTNERSHIP – application materials due this Thursday, Feb. 12

Apply for the chance to be selected for an internship with NBC in New York City and to be matched with an AAJA broadcast mentor!

AAJA is proud to announce the 2015 NBC Summer Partnership. NBC will place up to four selected students as paid interns for their programs based in New York City.NBC News will determine the show placement of the interns, but students will have the opportunity to inform NBC News of their preferences. The selected participants will be paid hourly for their work, and must be able to work full time in New York City during the summer of 2015. AAJA will also connect each partnership intern with a professional journalist mentor through the AAJA Broadcast Mentoring Program.

The deadline for AAJA to receive applications is Feb. 12, 2015.

ELIGIBILITY
• Applicants must have a serious interest in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled sophomores or above and on track to receive a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree from a college or university (limited to the United States). Recent graduates will also be considered.
• Production experience is not required, but preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
AAJA student membership is encouraged for all applicants and required for the selected partnership recipients. Log in to your account to join/renew.
