University of Nebraska Press Marketing Student Designer responsibilities:
Assist UNP marketing staff with the design of marketing materials such as
advertisements, website banners, catalogs, flyers, posters, and other
marketing projects as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented,
possesses strong time management skills, and has excellent interpersonal
communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to use Adobe Creative
Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft Office programs is required.
Copywriting skills preferred. Freshman, sophomores or juniors seeking degrees
in marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, English, or related
areas are encouraged to apply. This job is 10-15 hours per week and is a paid
position, $8/hour. We are looking for someone to work throughout the summer
as well as throughout the school year.


Additional Requirements and General Information (education, skills,
transportation): Our office is off campus so transportation may be needed.
