The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) team is seeking
applicants for the fall research class and spring competition team.

NSAC is the premier student advertising competition in the country
with over 150 schools participating. Schools develop a complete
marketing plan from an actual case study for a national brand.

UNL teams have won the district competition for three consecutive
years and moved on to nationals, where students received an expense
paid trip to complete against all other 18 district finalists. This
June, students traveled to San Diego where they placed 7th in the
nation. In 2010, our team placed fourth in the nation competing in
Orlando.

This year?s client is Nissan, an exciting opportunity to work in the
automotive category. According to the announcement from the American
Advertising Federation (AAF), sponsors of the competition:

"The case study will focus on the Nissan brand as it relates to
multicultural audiences, expanding upon Nissan's innovation theme."

We are seeking applicants for account services, research, creative,
cinematography, digital communications and media. If you are
talented, motivated, and able to work within an advertising agency
structure please send PDF samples to Amy Struthers:
astruthers2@unl.edu by August 15.

The team will be announced during the first week of classes, and those
selected will be encouraged to participate in the fall research class
as well as the spring campaigns class.
