The Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation of North Platte scholarship applications are due Feb. 24 and are available in Andersen 147.
This scholarship was established in 1997 by John and Jerry Wing Alexander. Qualifications include:
• Graduates from any accredited high school in North Platte, as well as former students of North Platte Community College.
• Applicants must be entering a field of communications, such as broadcasting, journalism, public relations, advertising, telecommunications, audio-video technologies or other communication fields as they develop through technological advancements.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need
