Tomorrow is the Springboard Your Career job fair. It’s a can’t-miss opportunity for students to meet with employers, in Andersen Hall from 1 to 4 p.m.
Students should bring their resumes, portfolios, clips and reels and get them in front of employers at this career fair event. There will be computers available for students to plug flash drives into to present their work.
“Journalists, broadcasters, advertisers and public relations students will get the unique opportunity to share their work in a one-on-one setting with employers representing many fields,” said Trina Creighton, associate professor of broadcasting and fair organizer. “If you’re a CoJMC student looking for a job or internship or you just want an outside professional in your field to review your work, it doesn’t get much better than the Springboard Your Career job fair.”

Following the career fair, the CoJMC Student Advisory Board is hosting a social media panel. Local social media experts will discuss what social media skills employers are looking for and how to use it as a tool. The panel will begin at 4 p.m. in Andersen 109. Pizza will be provided.
