Job Description:
In this position, you’ll be helping us build and maintain relationships with businesses in our area. From initial phone calls and emails to networking events and meetings, you’ll be managing the entire sales process from start to close. You’ll have freedom to grow your prospect and client lists but you’ll have the founding team at your side whenever you want help closing a deal. We will happily hire a current senior who plans to graduate in May, 2016, as long as they meet the requirements below.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Current senior or graduate from an ad/PR, Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant 4-year degree program OR have at least two years of professional B2B sales experience.
- Some B2B or retail sales experience OR proven effectiveness in another role that requires you to build relationships with people (student government, leadership in academic or Greek organization, etc.)
- A basic understanding of marketing communications principles.
- An ability to stay self-motivated and work effectively with little guidance.
- Strong organizational skills.
- An ability to communicate effectively through email, over the phone, and in person.
Preference will be given to candidates that are familiar with and/or have a professional network in Lincoln.
