News Channel Nebraska in Norfolk is looking for an energetic team player who understands the flexible schedule
that the broadcast industry requires to join its production crew. This person
will be responsible for operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics
and video equipment; as related to live broadcasts and post-production.
Experience:
Digital editing (Final Cut X) and Tricaster experience is a plus. Technical Directing and overall studio production background is key
factor to this position.
Requirements:
Television
production assistants need to be organized, proactive, show initiative, good
I.T. skills and communication. They should have a keen eye for detail, be happy
to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, as well as numerate and very
flexible.
Must have good technical skills, and good
communication skills. Responsibilities include floor directing, camera/studio
operations, digital editing (Final Cut X), assisting the news department, and
other duties as assigned.
