Apply now for a full scholarship to attend a three-day campus investigative reporting workshop and participate in
a yearlong program that offers ongoing training and opportunities to learn from top reporters from throughout
the country.

Investigative Reporters and Editors, in partnership with Education Writers Association and the Student
Press Law Center, is launching the third year of Campus Cover Project, which shares
investigative reporting skills with college and university students
that they can apply to covering campus issues.

Seventy-five students from around the country will be selected to
participate. In the program’s first two years students from more than
60 campuses nationwide won scholarships to attend.

The centerpiece of this program will be a national workshop from Jan.
5-8, at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass
Communication at Arizona State University in Phoenix. Sessions at the
workshop will focus on specific campus-coverage issues and overall
reporting techniques and skills. Travel and lodging expenses will be
covered, thanks to a grant from the Lumina Foundation.

Additional
training opportunities will be provided throughout the year.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 30. For more information and an online application, go to http://www.ire.org/campus .
