Undergraduate and graduate students with video or still photography content are welcome to apply for the James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship. The deadline to apply is November 15, 2016.
There are five (5) undergraduate photojournalism awards, payable to the student’s university, in the amount of $2,500 each:
· 4 for video
· 1 for still photography
In addition, there is one (1) photojournalism award for a graduate student, payable to the graduate student’s university in the amount of $2,500 for video work.

Jim Cox, a photojournalist for KTVK-3TV in Arizona, was killed in the media helicopter collision over Phoenix nine years ago. This is a way of honoring him - a very talented man and beloved son, brother, and friend.
