Marcella Mercer and Calla Kessler, students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications, are part of a yearlong depth-reporting project focusing on Whiteclay, Nebraska. They recently submitted an article for publication in the Lincoln Journal Star regarding Nora Boesem, a woman who has taken in nine children suffering from Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
