Seats are still open in the new course JOMC 20 Professional Development for next semester! CoJMC's Career Development Specialist, Courtney Pearson, will teach the six-week course aimed to help students polish skills that will enable them to compete successfully for jobs and internships. This is a pass/no pass, zero credit course.
Students who participate successfully in the course will learn how to perfect:
-An appropriate resume and cover letter
-A professional online presence
-An internship/job search strategy
-Internship/job interviewing skills
-General etiquette skills, including appropriate attire and appropriate forms of communication
Course prerequisites: JOMC 100
JOMC 20 is scheduled for Mondays from 2:30-3:20 in room 114 Andersen. Students will meet 1/9/17 through 2/28/17.
