
This summer, immerse yourself in the rich culture of Japan. Study abroad in an interdisciplinary general education course taught by faculty from the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts and the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Learn about Japanese visual culture in context – from ink painting and manga to advertising and journalism. Experience the best of contemporary and traditional culture around Kyoto at museums, gardens, temples, advertising agencies and other sites. Hone your observation skills through daily writing and photography in an exceptionally rich visual atmosphere. OPEN TO ALL MAJORS for ACE 2 or 9 CREDIT.
