As the American Advertising Federation prepares for the 2017-18 fiscal year, it is looking for members to get involved in AAF-Lincoln. It is currently looking for committee members to help with the various activities throughout the year. Being a committee member does not require a lot of time, but it will allow you to highlight your talents or learn something new all while helping your local advertising community. You might even make a new friend or two! If you are interested, please respond with the committee you would be interested in.
Available committees are:
American Advertising Awards (ADDYs): Prepare for and produce advertising’s biggest night!
Communications: Help members stay in touch with AAF-Lincoln’s news & events.
Education: Educate students & the future talent of Lincoln’s advertising industry. Ad Camp is our biggest event.
Government Relations: Keep your finger on the pulse of government legislation relating to the advertising and how it effects our industry locally and nationally.
Membership: Help grow AAF-Lincoln’s community through events and recruitment efforts.
Programs: Help determine presenters/topics that AAF-Lincoln brings in for luncheons, workshops, and other professional events.
Public Service: Work on promotional materials and fund raising efforts for a local charity we select as our public service recipient for the year.
Special Events: Work on events such as Winterfest Ales & Auction, AdWars, and other events that bring our advertising community together and raise funds for our Public Service recipient.
