Applications for the UNL NSAC team are due October 1.

UNL’s NSAC team is seeking students to become a part of the 2018 spring competition team.

NSAC is a premier student advertising competition where schools are given a real case study from a national client to create a fully integrated marketing campaign. This year’s client is Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice. Additionally, students looking to take the class will be able to fulfill their senior capstone.

Sponsored by the American Advertising Association, this nationwide competition brings more than 150 schools competing for the first place national title. The UNL team has won the District 9 Regional Competition six times in the past nine years and the national title in 2012.

Open positions include account planners /interactive strategists, research, graphic/interactive designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and media planners.

“My experience in NSAC has equipped me with the knowledge needed to successfully prepare and implement public relations tactics, the work ethic to tackle new challenges and the teamwork experience to successfully collaborate with peers and lead projects toward success,” said Linsey Armstrong.

Armstrong, a 2017 NSAC alum, is working towards an M.A. in Public Relations and International Relations at Syracuse University. Applications are available online at journalism.unl.edu/nsac. Application forms are also available on the NEW 2018 NSAC FB interest group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/243475649510828/.
