Social Media / Marketing Intern - Lied Center

$10.50/hour; 15 hours/week. Anticipated start date ASAP.

Position Description:
Work with Lied Center Communications Manager and Associate Director of Marketing & Development to establish social media strategy and goals

Plan and execute timely social media initiatives on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc

Collaborating with Lied Center designers, create compelling written and visual content for social campaigns, email marketing and other initiatives

Design and execute innovative social media strategies to expand reach and engagement of Lied Center patrons

Assist with database management and campaign response reporting

Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and avid participant in social media and internet communities currently. Strong writing skills and proficiency in standard Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel is essential. The ability to work independently and efficiently; organization and a self-driven initiative are needed. Some evening hours will be required on occasion to help staff performances and special events.
