The nation’s oldest single-family owned radio station is seeking its next Farm Director for our family of stations.
Our stations are passionate about what makes our local economy tick –agriculture. The ideal candidate is someone motivated and passionate about
agriculture, and providing producers with the information they need to run
their operations and make daily decisions.
He/she will need to have at least some broadcast/editing experience. Our stations value people first, and boast a family friendly culture. This position can be a launch pad for a career in Farm/News broadcasting, or an opportunity to continue a great career.
This candidate would also be a person who can foster relationships within our agricultural and greater community. Our next Farm Director should be comfortable in communicating across multiple media platforms. Experience with video is a plus.

Experience: 1. The ability to interview industry experts, government officials, and news makers.
2. News writing, gathering, and anchoring skills. The ability to anchor news and market updates. Strong social & digital media skills are a must. Experience with video a plus.
3. Willing to travel to cover meetings and
hearings.
4. Experience with basic audio software. We use Prophet NextGen.
Requirements:
High School diploma, valid drivers license, no criminal record, computer skills and working knowledge of digital and social media
