Want a chance to explore Ireland and its culture while gaining hands-on experience that will challenge you to become a better digital communicator? Join Interim Dean Amy Struthers and Maria Marron for an immersive course exploring Marron’s native country.
Students will get the opportunity to visit ad agencies, PR firms and news organizations that will allow them to gain an understanding of the communications industry in Ireland. This immersive experience will culminate in a multimedia project focused on a topic relating to Ireland.
The course, JOMC/ADPR 491/891: Ireland: Culture and Media, will begin Sunday, May 13, 2018, and end Monday, May 28, 2018. Preparation for the course will take place approximately six weeks before students depart for the trip.
