Reggie Rivers is this year’s Hearst Diversity and Media Speaker. Rivers is a former NFL running back for the Denver Broncos and is now a media personality and business owner, who has worked in newspaper, radio and television in Denver.
Rivers will be giving two presentations that are open to the public. The first presentation, “The Business of Football: Leadership Lessons from the Gridiron,” will draw upon Rivers' experience in sports, communications and leadership. This presentation will be Tuesday, February 27, 7 p.m. in Andersen Hall, room 15.
The second discussion, “What Could Be More American than Collin Kaepernick’s Silent Protest?” will be Wednesday, February 28, 3:30-5 p.m. in Andersen Hall, room 109. The talk with be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/UNLCoJMC.
