Job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, creating compelling play-by-play of local high school and two-year college teams (football, basketball, volleyball, softball, wrestling), as well as daily on-the-air sports updates, a daily sports program “The Blitz” Live Monday through Friday at noon, plus online sports stories for our digital/social media platform northplattepost.com.
This position is located in North Platte, Nebraska.
Experience:
Candidates must be web savvy, with high volume facebook, G+, Twitter and sports/news/entertainment consumer and contributor. Show us you can entertain and inform with creative headlines, creative sports copy and creative graphics, both on-air and online!
Requirements:
Successful applicant will have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Excellent communication and computer skills, and knowledge of digital/social media is required.
