Omaha World-Herald Fellowship interviews

Interviews for the Fall 2018 Omaha World-Herald fellowships will be April 16 in Andersen Hall. You are eligible to interview if you have successfully completed the Real World course (JOUR 348) and beginning reporting (JOUR 202).

Contact Professor Michelle Hassler – mhassler3@unl.edu – to sign up.

The available fellowship positions include data reporter, photographer, online reporter and news reporter.

Fellowships are a semester-long program with 20 hours of work per week, fitted around your class schedule. The fellowship is based largely in the World-Herald's Lincoln bureau, with some travel to Omaha or on assignment.

You’ll receive minimum wage for hours worked; three hours class credit, tuition-paid; and a $2,500 stipend after successful conclusion of the semester.
