Interim Dean Struthers will attend a Confucius Institute Educator's Tour of China, June 3-15. The program is sponsored by Hanban. The program aims to help educational officials in the United States learn more about China and encourage the growth of Chinese programs in their schools.
During the visit, delegates will attend a welcoming ceremony held in Beijing and lectures on Chinese culture given by well-known scholars. They will also visit schools in different provinces, learn about Chinese society and hold meetings with Chinese educators.
