Time again to sign up for Big 10 Network live “BTN StudentU” webcasts of selected Husker women’s soccer games for the Fall 2018 Semester. HuskerVision produces these webcasts for BTN, and they use CoJMC majors as the play-by-play and color announcers. Student announcers are paid for their efforts, and they receive a link to download the recorded video of the event for their personal demo materials.

These webcasts are open to any CoJMC major at any grade level; you do not need to have taken the BRDC 375 Sports Broadcasting course. You should feel confident in your knowledge of soccer rules and terminology.
You will be expected to attend a workshop with John Shrader. He will introduce you to the best practices of doing soccer; the principles of doing live sports announcing; and the terminology, rules and styles of doing soccer. The workshops time and place will be provided.
You need to be at the stadium at least 90 minutes prior to the stated start time of the event.
