Brandon Rumbaugh is no stranger to challenge and adversity. After stepping on an IED in Afghanistan in 2012, he lost both of his legs and underwent months of rehabilitation and treatments. Against all odds, he took the challenge head-on and turned it into self-motivation. Now, Brandon shares his story of challenge and obstacles to create motivation in others, inspiring those he meets with his optimism and passion to help others, and that no matter what they have been through or are going through, they can overcome.

University Program Council (UPC) and the University of Nebraska Student Veterans Organization (UNSVO) invite you to attend a talk by Rumbaugh on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

The event is free for UNL students with a valid NCard. The event is $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
