Job #: 513-12
Interns assist with the production of Performance Today®, American Public Media’s flagship daily classical music program. Interns are assigned two general tasks, Logging and Quality Control (QC), with other duties as assigned. This position will have access to in-studio performances by musicians from around the world as well as daily production meetings to plan and craft upcoming programs. Critically, interns transfer programming metadata from PT’s programming boards—repertoire determined by the series’ senior music programmer and updated collectively each day by members of the crew—into the shared document that serves as the “road map” for PT’s final scripting, editing, production, and broadcast.
