The Grand Island Independent and its editor, Jim Faddis, will be on campus Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, to interview students interested in applying for the newspaper's 2019 summer internship. This is a reporting and writing internship that lasts 11 weeks. Ideally, applicants will be students who have completed at least their sophomore year by the summer of 2019, but all interested students are invited to sign up for an interview. Competitive wage offered.
