The Office of International Affairs seeks a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student to assist with the redesign of the office website. Work hours are Monday through Friday for approximately 10-20 hours per week. Responsibilities will include assisting in the design of the IA website layout and interface; migrating existing content to the UNL Content Management System (CMS); helping develop new website content (e.g., resource lists, FAQs, writable pdf forms, etc.); providing support for developing and maintaining an IA social media presence; and other duties as assigned.

experience:
• Strong background using technology and Web 2.0 applications in an educational context
• Must have knowledge of HTML, XHTML. Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript desired but not required.
• Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Acrobat.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge or a strong interest in international education and cross-cultural exchange is a plus.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently and initiate action as needed. Must be team-oriented, demonstrate a professional attitude, be prompt and reliable, and in good academic standing. Preferred: Intention to work at least two academic years.
