Startups up for YOU is an event where students will hear from a panel of successful founders who launched high-growth startups that were validated right here in Lincoln. The purpose of this presentation is to make students aware of the valuable resources here in Lincoln for entrepreneurs. The panelists will also talk about their path to entrepreneurship and the ideas that started their company. Along with hearing these founders' stories, we will also touch on Lincoln as a thriving startup community. Learn about why Lincoln is a great place to start a company!
This is a Q/A style presentation and students will be able to have an open conversation with the founders. The panel will start at 5 p.m. March 7 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. After the panel, there will be a reception where students can network with these founders and even pitch them their ideas. Food and drink will be provided.
