The Larry Whiteside Scholarship is open to undergrad and graduate students. Application requirements include:
-Must have an interest in pursuing a career in sports journalism
-Must be an undergraduate or graduate student with at least one year left in school.
-G.P.A. requirement: 2.5 or higher in journalism major and at least a 2.0 cumulative
-Essay topic: "What inspires you to be a journalist?" (1,000-2000 words)
