Journalism students in the Mosaic class publish stories about Nebraska’s refugees and immigrants – so they get international reporting experience without ever having to leave the state. The spring 2019 project is titled, "Finding a voice: New Americans and language." The project can be found at https://nebraskamosaic.atavist.com/.
Students in the Mosaic course study global issues and often interview people from all over the world as they practice multimedia storytelling. This capstone course allows students to work on real projects and make an impact in the community.
