This fall, the CoJMC family will welcome Phonethavy (Tee) Thavonsouk, a Fulbright student from Laos in Southeast Asia. In 2016, Tee graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia University in India with a bachelor's degree in computer application.
After working as a project coordinator for two years after graduation, Tee said she discovered an interest in communication. She will be studying integrated media communications in the CoJMC master's program.
"I’m very excited to create a memorable experience at UNL and to explore a beautiful state of Nebraska during my time in the United States," she said.
