Reminder: Professional Development Workshop – The Challenge of Feeding 9 Billion People: Implications for Cooperative Extension

This two-part workshop and panel discussion will draw on national "thought leaders" to introduce emerging challenges in the food system and to initiate a discussion of opportunities for Cooperative Extension to be an important participant in this issue. This workshop is sponsored by the North Central Agriculture and Program Leaders for Cooperative Extension.

UNL Dean and Director Interviews Underway

The interview process for finding a new Dean and Director of UNL Extension has begun. Duane Williams will be interviewing this week and David Hardin will be interviewing the week of March 26. If you didn’t get a chance to attend Susan Williams’ or Deborah Sheely’s presentations they are archived on the Extension website at: http://www.extension.unl.edu/web/extension/cedfinalists . I encourage all you to participate in the interviews as fully as possible and turn in your evaluation forms to Linda Arnold (larnold1@unl.edu) in 202 Agricultural Hall, East Campus 0708 by March 30.
