It is time again to start making plans for our annual Nebraska Extension Fall Conference on November 17-18, 2020. As you know, Fall Conference will have a new look this year as we move to a digital format, however, we are working hard to make it an educational, interactive, and fun event. This year, we are focusing on telling our Extension story, leading with inclusion, and looking towards the future……all important to our continued success as an organization.
We are putting the final touches on the agenda and will be releasing it soon. But in the meantime, we would like registration to start, in order to plan for any materials we might need to everyone prior to the conference.
Participation in our Fall Conference is important for every Extension professional. We expect you to participate in this dynamic opportunity.

Tell Us Your Story
Everyone has a story, and we invite you to share yours. Using the “I’m a Husker” poster that is linked below, tell Extension a little bit about yourself. The way you answer is wide open, it can be anything that comes to mind to help others get to know you better.
If you would like to participate, please complete the poster with a statement about yourself and then take a picture with it. Be as creative as you wish.
We will compile all the submissions and use them during Fall Conference. We hope you will join in the fun!

A Note About Gathering
Based upon the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Nebraska and the projected pandemic trajectory leading into this fall and winter, please refrain from Extension professional gatherings to participate in these events.
We are beginning to see COVID-19 impact some of our county office operations. We should do all we can to mitigate the risk of exposing multiple Extension professionals. I know we are all anxious to resume some sense of normal engagement with one another, however, the potential for exposing a group of colleagues is real and would significantly disrupt Extension operations locally and regionally.
