Nebraska Extension Fall Conference - November 17th and 18th

Checklist for Next Week:
• Did you do your "I Am a Husker" selfie? See details below
• Did you look at the options for Wednesday morning networking? Calendar invites will be sent for all. Accept the one you plan to attend.
• Did you consider a Monday night networking option with colleagues?
• Did you get a box of materials yet, if not it is on the way, make sure and check your office. DO NOT OPEN IT YET.
• Your Zoom Link for Conference will be coming in a calendar invite and it will also be posted on the Fall Conference webpage.
Expectations for Next Week:
• Find a quiet spot with no distractions and the best possible internet connection in order to participate fully.
• Plan to engage, share in your small groups, share in the chat and utilize your camera when at all possible.
• Plan to participate the entire time as we will be moving from keynotes, to breakouts, to other activities quite frequently.

Wake Up and Get the Day Started Right

Coffee Talk & Connection (8:00-9:15 am central) -Join us for a fun, and energizing Coffee Talk. Loving coffee is optional but having fun with colleagues across the state is likely. Several breakout rooms will happen if the group is large. Some breakouts could include a game of Zoom Pictionary, but all breakouts will get you connected, energized and ready to kick-off day two of Fall Conference!

Morning Movement (8:00-9:00 am central) - Jumpstart your morning with some movement! Join us in getting our heart rates up and our minds ready for the second day of fall conference! We will be getting our blood pumping through a variety of easy at-home exercises, chair yoga and stretches that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready for the day! This session is for all fitness levels who want to learn more about how to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines.
Needed Materials for Session: Clothes you can move in, comfortable shoes, a sturdy chair & some space for movement.

Zooming Out: NebExt Nature Challenge (8:00-9:15 am central) - We’ve been Zooming so much lately, maybe we just need a time to get out in nature and breathe some fresh air. In this session we’ll meet briefly to share logistics then take time to go outside and explore. Participants will take pictures in nature and share them with others. We’ll follow with a brief discussion and vote on our favorite pics – and who knows, the winner may get a prize!
Needed Materials for Session: A phone or camera to take pictures and a way to share them to an online storyboard platform (Padlet).
