4-H Youth Development Extension Educator - Platte County

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, non-tenure leading faculty position in the Northeast Research and Extension District at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This position will provide strong regional leadership for focused, comprehensive 4-H Youth Development programs in one or more of the core values of Agricultural Literacy; Career Development; Citizenship & Leadership; Healthy Living; and Science. This position offices in Columbus, Nebraska, and serves the region. Criminal history background check will be conducted. Must meet driver standards according to UNL policy and have a Valid Driver's License.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree required; one degree in Youth Development, Leadership, Teaching/Education, Ag Education, Human Sciences or closely related field. Master’s degree must be completed by start date. Successful experience teaching in a formal or non-formal setting. Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e. publications, teaching experiences, presentations). Experience and demonstrated ability in working with youth and youth organizations including understanding of positive youth development and youth program management.
