Eureka! 2014 is a two-day event designed to engage all of you with UNL research and creativity activities for the purpose of:

• Gathering the campus community in robust conversation around the concept of an engaged university for all Nebraskans,

• Fostering collaboration between UNL Extension professionals and the research and creative works of UNL faculty,

• Expanding Extension professionals’ capacity for engaging in translational, high-impact research for Nebraskans, and which align with Extension’s strategic objectives,

• Encouraging new working relationships that advance UNL’s research and creative impact.

The general and research and creative work experience sessions have been set for City Campus on March 18 and East Campus on March 19. These sessions will allow extension professionals from across the state to visit in small groups with UNL faculty about their research and creative works in variety of settings. Since these session have a limit of 20 we encourage you to register as soon as possible for the best chance of getting the sessions you prefer. A key part of Eureka! 2014, will be an Engagement Colloquium. Dr. Lou Swanson, Vice Provost for Outreach and Strategic Partnerships at Colorado State University will be our keynote speaker. An important part of the Colloquium will be a poster/demonstration session, please be thinking about projects or programs that you would like to share with the UNL Campus community.
