The annual VIP Tour of the Haskell Agricultural Laboratory (HAL) will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2015. HAL is located 1½ miles east of Concord, Nebraska.
Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m., and trolley tours of the research farm including short summaries of faculty and staff research and extension programs will begin at 4:15 p.m.
Following the tours, dinner will be served, followed by a short program during which the 2015 Outstanding Contributions to Northeast Nebraska Agriculture Award will be presented. The event normally adjourns around 8:00 p.m.
This year’s VIP’s are the Certified Crop Advisors, Farm Managers, and Ag Consultants in the Northeast Nebraska Experimental Farm Association District.
