Nebraska 4-H Youth Development and the Nebraska 4-H Foundation have created an unique opportunity for Nebraska’s Collegiate 4-H Alumni - the Nebraska 4-H Ambassador Program! We are seeking 5 college level students to join our current 4-H Ambassador Team in their wish to be an advocate for the Nebraska 4-H Program.
As an Nebraska 4-H Ambassador, you will…
* Serve a two-year term—monthly meetings
* Connect with the 4-H network on the local, regional, and state level
* Host the 4-H Alumni Reception at the Nebraska State Fair
* Show youth different aspects of the 4-H Program
* Network with business professionals across Nebraska * Gain interview, resume, public speaking, and other “life after college” skills
* Use social media to spread the 4-H message
* Meet Nebraska State Officials
* Host events for fellow former 4-H’ers on campus
* Build relationships with 4-H donors through various 4-H fundraising events
* Promote the 4-H Program
-- Travel and miscellaneous expenses will be paid for.
-- Will work around class schedules and other time commitments.
