Animal Health in the Heartland Symposium

This inaugural Animal Health in the Heartland Symposium, Biotechnology’s Role in Emergency Preparedness, offers the opportunity to discuss the past, current, and future innovative methods of animal disease and outbreak management. Recent outbreaks of Avian Influenza (AIV) and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) have had a serious impact on our region; impacting animals, producers, consumers, and the encompassing agriculture industry. This event will provide a forum where industry, academic, and government leaders can interface to discuss the world’s foremost animal health issues, providing a platform for future collaboration and solutions.
