16th Annual Nebraska Grazing Conference Brochures Mailed


Extension Educators should have received a copy of the brochure for the 2016 Nebraska Grazing Conference, which takes place August 9-10 at the Kearney Ramada. UNL presenters include Mary Drewnoski and Rick Rasby with the Animal Science Dept., Tonya Haigh and graduate student Maggi Sliwinski with the School of Natural Resources, and Ron Rosati, Dean of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. Other speakers include: Trey Patterson, CEO/President of Padlock Ranch Company in Wyoming; Derrell Peel and Sam Fuhlendorf from Oklahoma State University, Bob Kinford from Texas, and several producers from Nebraska and South Dakota.

Full registration is $80 if postmarked by Aug. 1, $100 afterward. One-day registration is $35 before Aug. 1, $55 after. Walk-in registrations are allowed. Reduced registration fees are offered for full-time high school or college students. Registration fees will be paid by the UNL College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources for students who will still be in high school this fall and who pre-register by the Aug. 1 deadline.
